Now available: Big Medium 2.0b4
Posted Sep 1, 2006
It's a bug-stompin' Saturday morning here at the Global Moxie HQ (many thanks
to Tom Marks for the Firefox v1.0.x bug reports).
Big Medium v2.0b4 cleans up several browser-specific interface issues and
fixes a dopey broken link. Download the latest version here.
The New Files
If you're upgrading from v2.0b3, you only need to upload these six files from
the new version:
bmadmin/js/bigmedium_cp.js
bmadmin/css/bigmedium_cp.css
moxiebin/Modules/BigMed.pm
moxiebin/Modules/Mail
moxiedata/templates/cp_templates/shell_cp_bottom.tmpl
moxiedata/templates/cp_templates/screen_prefs_menu.tmpl
Change Log
If you care to know the nitty-gritty details, here's the complete list
of changes:
- Fixed bug that caused a gobbledygook message to appear in the control panel
when uploading images, documents, media, etc in Firefox v1.0.x.
- Fixed display glitches in Firefox v1.0.x:
- Control panel's dropdown menus now display properly
- Scroll bars no longer crop up in the preference menu panels
- Added clickable form labels for Safari. Other browsers already had this,
but now Safari has it too:
- Clicking anywhere in the text of a checkbox selects the checkbox.
- Clicking anywhere in the text of one of the text-editor tabs ("markdown"
or "raw html") now selects the tab
- Clicking the text label for any form field now selects that form field.
- Added the Mail::Address module to the package, easing installation for
servers that don't already have that Perl module installed.
- Fixed broken link for user name in the left-column of the control panel.
