Big Medium 2.0b43: "Dorian Gray"

Posted Apr 10, 2007

The “Dorian Gray” beta update adds a few minor features and bug fixes. (This version is named on the occasion of my pal Kristen’s birthday. She seems to get younger every year... a “Dorian Blonde”?)

  • Added new options in the “Images” HTML preference to specify separate image sizes for announcements and tips.

  • Fixed bug caused by overzealous spam prevention on the homepage and section front pages. The bug prevented comments from being posted or email-this-page messages from those pages.

  • Fixed bug that prevented edit menu from remembering the “with subsections” state when returning to the menu or changing column sort order.

  • Fixed bug that could cause update and page-build problems if the site’s homepage data could not be found.
