Big Medium 2.0b33: "Open House"

The "Open House" beta update fixes a bug in the "Rebuild Pages..." screen that prevented the menu from reappearing in Internet Explorer after the rebuild is complete.

Download the latest version of Big Medium here.

The download file includes installation instructions, including info for upgrading from previous versions of the Big Medium 2 beta. (If you're upgrading from 2.0b30, b31 or b32, see the shortcut instructions below.)

Upgrading from 2.0b32?

If you're upgrading from v2.0b32, you can update to the new version by uploading only the following three files, which you should upload in "plain text" (or "ASCII") mode:

  • moxiebin/Modules/BigMed.pm
  • moxiedata/templates/cp_templates/screen_build_menu.tmpl
  • bmadmin/js/bm-build.js

After uploading the files listed above, browse to the bm-update.cgi file in your site's moxiebin directory. For example:

http://www.example.com/cgi-bin/moxiebin/bm-update.cgi

Upgrading from 2.0b30 or b31?

If you're upgrading from v2.0b30 or b31, you can update to the new version by uploading only the following files, which you should upload in "plain text" (or "ASCII") mode:

In the moxiebin/Modules directory (upload in "plain text" mode):

  • BigMed.pm
  • BigMed (entire directory)

In the moxiedata/templates/cp_templates directory (upload in "plain text" mode):

  • screen_build_menu.tmpl
  • shell_cp_bottom.tmpl
  • wi_prompt_slider.tmpl

In the moxiedata/templates/site_templates/HTML directory (upload in "plain text" mode):

  • wi_byline.tmpl
  • wi_related.tmpl
  • wi_relatedlinks.tmpl

In the moxiedata/support directory (upload in "automatic" or "binary" mode):

  • assets (entire directory)

In the bmadmin/img directory (upload in "automatic" or "binary" mode):

  • `bigmedium_logo.gif
  • `bmheadlogo.jpg

In the bmadmin/css directory (upload in "plain text" mode):

  • bigmedium_cp.css

In the bmadmin/js directory (upload in "plain text" mode):

  • bigmedium_cp.js
  • bm-build.js
  • bm-config.js
  • bm-css.js

After uploading the files listed above, browse to the bm-update.cgi file in your site's moxiebin directory. For example:
