A Note About Theme Changes
This update provides some fixes to the base Big Medium styles and the
"Cup o' Joe" theme. Sites using the "Cup o' Joe" theme should follow these
steps after installing this update:
- Go to "Layout>New Theme" in the Big Medium control panel.
- Click "Apply" under the "Cup o' Joe" theme.
- Repeat these steps for all sites using the "Cup o' Joe" theme:
Click "Switch sites" in the left-column menu, choose the next
site, and repeat steps one and two above.
Important: Be aware hat this process will also remove any custom
templates or style sheet customizations you may have added.
If you're not using the "Cup o' Joe" theme, please follow these steps
after installing this update:
- Go to "Settings>HTML Preferences" in the Big Medium control panel.
- In the Navigation panel, click "Go there now."
- Save the navigation preferences (no need to make any changes).
The New Files
If you're upgrading from v2.0b13, you can upgrade by uploading only the
following files and directories listed below.
When uploading, make sure that your FTP client is set to "plain text" or
"ASCII" mode when you upload the files for the moxiebin directory
and "binary" mode when you upload the files for the moxiedata
and bmadmin directories.
bmadmin/themes/_general/cup_o_joe/theme.css
moxiebin/Modules/BigMed.pm
moxiebin/Modules/BigMed/App/Web/Config.pm
moxiebin/Modules/BigMed/App/Web/Login.pm
moxiebin/Modules/BigMed/App/Web/Parse.pm
moxiebin/Modules/BigMed/Builder.pm
moxiebin/Modules/BigMed/DiskUtil.pm
moxiebin/Modules/BigMed/Format/HTML.pm
moxiebin/Modules/BigMed/JSON.pm
moxiedata/templates/cp_templates/shell_header.tmpl
moxiedata/templates/site_templates/_navcss * (directory)
moxiedata/templates/site_templates/base.css
moxiedata/templates/site_templates/HTML/_page.txt
...or to keep things simple (if a bit slower), you can also upload these four
files and directories instead of uploading the above files individually:
moxiebin/Modules/BigMed.pm
moxiebin/Modules/BigMed (directory)
bmadmin/themes (directory)
moxiedata/templates (directory)
The Nitty Gritty
Here's what's new in this update:
- Fixed CSS bug that could cause page text to drop far down the page in
Internet Explorer. (Thanks to Kevin Waite and Sander Feinberg).
- Fixed bug in Internet Explorer that caused horizontal drop-down menus in
<%navigation%> to appear far to the left of the screen. (Thanks to Sander
Feinberg).
- Fixed a bug that caused the setup wizard to get trapped in an endless loop
of "Please review your entry" prompts on the second screen. (Thanks to Leroy
G. Blimegger, Jr.).
- Fixed bug that prevented login for Windows IIS servers. (Thanks to Leroy G.
Blimegger, Jr.).
- Fixed false "out of disk space" errors when saving data on Windows IIS
servers. (Thanks to Leroy G. Blimegger, Jr.).
- Fixed bug that caused pullquote text or media captions to be
double-html-escaped when formatted as markdown or raw html, so that the html
formatting was removed when you tried to make changes to the markup.
- Fixed a crashing bug when you select no values in a sort-order preference in
HTML preferences (e.g. tip sort order, link sort order, etc).
- Fixed a bug that could allow preview links to open in the control-panel
window. (Thanks to Steve Carter).
- Fixed alignment of embedded images/documents/pullquotes with the first
paragraph so that they align with the top of the paragraph in all browsers.
(Thanks to Kevin Waite).
- Fixed bug that broke auto-discovery of RSS feeds (incorrect URL) for sites
whose homepage and page directories are different. (Thanks to Mike Battle).
- Fixed bug that prevented the selection of the "display top tip(s)" preference
jin the tips and announcements HTML preferences panel. (Thanks to Steve Carter).
