This FAQ is for Big Medium 1.x. It does not apply to Big Medium 2.0 or later.

Beginning with version 1.3, Big Medium requires version 2.56 or later of the CGI Perl module. If your server has an older version of the CGI module, Big Medium will display a message asking you to update CGI to a more recent version.

  1. Download and unzip the file linked above.
  2. Sign in to your server with your FTP program, and go to the Modules directory, located inside the moxiebin directory of your server's cgi-bin.
  3. Set your FTP program to "ASCII" or "plain text" mode.
  4. Upload the files (except for README.txt) that came with this download into the Modules directory. Note that if your server's Modules directory already contains a directory named CGI, you should add the contents of this download's CGI directory to the existing CGI directory. (In other words, do not delete or replace the existing CGI directory.)

The files to upload to the Modules directory:

  • CGI directory (and all of its contents)
  • CGI.pm
