London Calling

London - Banksy
Banksy graffiti in Picadilly. Photo by Trois Têtes.

It's already time to pack my bags again. Just back from a month-long ramble in the US with my wife, the lovely and freshly doctored Dr. McBreen, I'm off to London tomorrow night for the Future of Web Apps conference on Wednesday and Thursday.

The Carson Workshops gang always puts on a heckuva show, and this fall's installment has expanded to a two-day extravaganza (three if you stick around for the workshops). You never know from talk titles alone, but at this point I'm particularly looking forward to hearing from these mind-bogglingly bright folks: Matt Biddulph, John Resig, Tom Coates, Matt Mullenweg and Matt Haughey. I plan to go heavy on the developer track, but may dip into the business offerings, too.

As always, I'm looking forward to blundering into some new ideas and meeting some fresh faces. That means you! If you're in London for the conference and care to trade tales about Big Medium, indie software development, web-app design or the early demise of the Mets, let's have a pint, a curry or a cup o' tea. Drop me a line.
