Destination in sight.

This week marks the sixth and, I expect, final release candidate for Big Medium 2.0. Barring the discovery of any showstopper bugs, the next update will be the real-McCoy version of Big Medium 2.0 and the end of a year-long process of public beta testing. I expect to release Big Medium 2.0 sometime in December.

That means just a few days or weeks remain before the price of Big Medium goes up from $129 to $185. If you already purchased a license for Big Medium 1.x, no need to do anything at all; Big Medium 2 is a free upgrade for existing customers, and you’re all set. But if you have not yet purchased a license for Big Medium, you can save over 50 bucks by buying now, before Big Medium 2.0 goes live.

Speaking of licenses and purchases, that’s what will occupy my time over the next couple of weeks. I’m working on revising Global Moxie’s commerce, license and registration system for the relaunch of globalmoxie.com. The site you’re looking at now represents the new look of globalmoxie.com; it will take the old site’s place at the same time Big Medium 2.0 is launched.

So, yep, Big Medium 2 is done. All that remains is preparing globalmoxie.com for the release. After that, it’s time to start spreading the word about this nifty little product. (I’ll need your help with that, by the way, but more on that later. Stay tuned.)

Big Medium is fantastic and is worth a great deal more than the asking price for the license. Not only is the script first rate, but the documentation and help forums are the best I have ever seen from any software developer. Speaking personally, you have been very patient throughout the BETA period and have answered all my pesky questions very quickly. MANY THANKS!

I am very exctied about purchasing Big medium 2.0 but I still am unable to get inot the old one located here: http://www.continuingedwire.com

I have no idea on how to upgrade the program because I don;t know what version I have.

Can you please help? I like to tryout the latest one but I don't know what to do unless I completely delete the entire website and start all over again.

@Dan - Glad that you like the new site, and thanks for considering another purchase of Big Medium. I'm afraid that the $129 train has already left the station; the price is $185 now. But wait, there's good news! I just e-mailed coupons to all Big Medium v1 customers. Check your e-mail, and you'll find a coupon for $50, which brings you nearly to the original price.

The continuingedwire.com site is running an old version of the 2.0 beta (specifically, 2.0b42). You can upgrade to the latest version by grabbing Big Medium from the download page and following the installation instructions.
