Time Check

Posted Mar 30, 2008

Last night, Europe and several other countries kicked off Daylight Saving Time, joining the North American countries that made the leap a few weeks ago. (Just like water down the drain, the clocks swirled in the opposite direction last night for our pals in Australia and a handful of other southern-hemisphere countries.)

Just a reminder: Don't leave Big Medium behind. Your Big Medium-powered site needs a little nudge to make the Daylight Saving Time adjustment, too.

To change the time in Big Medium 2 for an individual site, update the "Time Zone Offset" setting in the "Settings>Site Properties" screen.

I know, I know, it sure would be handy if Big Medium did this for you automatically. Alas, time-zone programming is crazy-complicated and your humble developer has punted on that. Maybe one day, but not this week... I just lost an hour after all.

Hi Josh,

Maybe you can develop an option for a global time setting for all sites. I've just changed 18 Time Zones and it is a bit tedious.
