Hi Miguel, Sorry for the trouble. Because this forum software allows anonymous users to send email via a web form, it's possible for spammers to take advantage. The software limits the number of emails per day a single computer can send to prevent automated blasts, but that small handful of emails can still get out. I've inquired with the makers of this forum software about how to provide better protection to you and other users, but I'm not sure that there's a great immediate solution. Just a quick update... I've hacked the code in the forum to reduce the number of emails that a single IP address can send per day. It's still not an ideal fix, but hopefully it will at least stem the tide. Sorry again for the trouble. Please do feel free to let me know if you continue to receive much spam. josh |
